This touches on the black community learning. Teaching the black people what is going on, “the main function of the party is to awaken the people and to teach them the strategic method of resisting the power structure”
One of their goals was to educate and make it known what the party does and then go into secrecy.

The black panther Party of defense teaches that defense weapons or any other necessary equipment should be taken from the power structure
